The status quo
The first-party integration is failing your team
Average rating of the official HubSpot–ConnectWise sync, across 28 reviews
Silent failures
A sync breaks and nobody knows until a customer asks about a deal that never reached ConnectWise.
Duplicate companies
Exact-name matching mass-creates duplicates. One MSP rolled back their ConnectWise database after thousands of them.
One-way data
Deals never sync status back to ConnectWise. Your sales and service teams work from different truths.
Getting started
Set up in minutes, not days
Self-serve. No implementation partner required.
Connect both platforms
Sign in to HubSpot with OAuth and add your ConnectWise PSA API member. Each connection gets its own encryption key, and credentials are never shown again.
Run the duplicate preflight
A read-only scan of both sides finds likely duplicates before anything is written. Approve, reject, or merge, then re-scan.
Dry-run, then go live
See exactly what the first sync would create, update, or skip. When it looks right, switch it on. Every change from then on is in the audit trail.
What's different
Sync you can actually see
Five capabilities the first-party integration doesn't have
Per-record audit trail
Every change, both directions, with a correlation ID that links each step: received, mapped, deduped, written, or skipped. Field-level diffs, timestamps, and links back to both records.
Duplicate-preflight scan
Before your first sync, HubConnector scans both platforms and flags every likely duplicate using normalised names and matching domains, not just exact strings. You approve the matches, so nothing gets created twice.
Dry-run mode
Preview every change before it writes. See exactly what will be created, updated, or skipped, then approve.
Self-healing reconciliation
Nightly reconciliation catches anything that slipped: missed webhooks, API timeouts, manual edits. Your data converges, not diverges.
Conflict resolution log
When the same record changes on both sides, the most recent change wins, field by field, or you pin specific fields to one platform. Every resolution is in the log, never a silent overwrite.

Questions
Frequently asked
Is it really bidirectional?
Yes. Each record type syncs both ways by default, and you can set any of them to one-way. Closed-won deals hand off to a ConnectWise service ticket in one direction only.
What happens when a record changes on both sides?
The more recent change wins, compared field by field using each platform's last-modified timestamp. You can pin specific fields to always prefer HubSpot or ConnectWise. Every resolution appears in the conflict log.
Will it create duplicate companies?
Not by exact-name matching. Before the first sync, the duplicate preflight scans both platforms using normalised names and matching website domains, and you approve the links. After that, every write goes through a cross-reference store so a record is only ever linked once.
What if a webhook is missed?
HubConnector refetches the current record at processing time, so out-of-order or duplicate events can't write stale data. A nightly reconciliation job pages both platforms for anything that drifted and re-syncs it. Anything it can't repair is flagged in the dashboard with a recommended action.
How are my credentials stored?
At launch, each connection's OAuth tokens and API credentials are encrypted with their own data key (AES-256-GCM, managed through AWS KMS). Webhooks are signature-checked and rejected if the signature or timestamp doesn't match.
Do I need an implementation partner?
No. Setup is self-serve: connect both platforms, run the preflight and a dry-run, then switch on the sync. Plans start at $99 a month.
